About National University of Study and Research in Law
The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, is a premier legal institution established by the Government of Jharkhand under the NUSRL Act, 2010. NUSRL offers B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. programs and is known for its robust academic curriculum and research-oriented environment. Among various research centres, it hosts the prestigious Chair for Consumer Research and Policy (CCRP).
About the Internship
The Chair on Consumer Research and Policy (CCRP), NUSRL, Ranchi, invites law students to apply for its monthly internship programme on a rolling basis. The Chair was established in October 2024 by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution (Department of Consumer Affairs), Government of India. It functions as a think tank focusing on consumer law research and policy. The internship aims to expose students to consumer protection laws and encourage academic engagement in consumer welfare.
Eligibility
Students from recognized law institutions/universities.
2nd and 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. course.
2nd year onward students in a 5-year integrated LL.B. course.
LL.M. students.
Location
Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.
No of Seats
Only 5 students will be given the slot every month including offline and online Internship.
Mode
Online and offline modes are available.
Deadlines/Dates
Applications accepted on a rolling basis.
Internship slots: 5 students per month.
Minimum duration: 30 working days.
Working hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Full-time internship).

Include a 1,000-word write-up on Consumer Protection Laws.
Applications must be submitted at least one month before the desired internship period.
Post-selection: Submit a recommendation letter from your institution (Annexure A) and an undertaking (Annexure B).
